Dr Kim Jobst – Integrated Medicine consultant. England
Dr Jobst is an Integrated Medicine Consultant specialising in investigation and management of acute and chronic medical problems, including dementia and neurogenerative diseases. He was a founding member of the Prince of Wales’ Foundation for Integrated Health steering group and is Editor-in-chief of the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine: Research on Paradigm, Practice and Policy.
Dr Rajendra Sharma – Integrated Medicine consultant, London
Dr Sharma has practiced Integrated Medicine for the last 20 years in Europe, India and the USA and is now the Medical Director of The Diagnostic Clinic, London. He is the Secretary of The British Society of Ecological Medicine and continues to work with over 100 CAM associates and practitioners whilst running the most advanced Integrated Diagnostic centre in Britain.
Dr Sarah Myhill – Integrated Medicine consultant, Wales
Dr Myhill studied medicine and works as a private GP specialising in allergy, nutritional & environmental (ecological) medicine. She has a special interest in treating chronic fatigue syndrome, in particular CFS following exposure to organophosphate poisoning and also Gulf War veterans and aero toxic pilots.
Dr Nicola Hembry – Integrated Medicine Consultant, England
Dr Hembry is a committee member of the British Society of Ecological Medicine (BSEM). She has a private practice in Bristol where she specialises in complementary approaches to cancer. She also offers 'MammoVision' digital thermal imaging in her clinic which is a complementary form of breast screening. She is currently completing an MSc in Clinical Oncology at Birmingham University.
Dr Francoise Freedman - Senior Scientist and Associate Lecturer, Cambridge University
Medical Anthropologist Dr Freedman has worked as a lecturer, postgraduate research supervisor, research project director and course tutor and is the Founder and Senior Tutor of the Birthlight Trust, which aims to translate cutting-edge scientific research related to reproductive processes into simple practices to restore a holistic perspective to pregnancy and childbirth.
Professor Avni Sali - Director of the National Institute of Integrative Medicine, Australia
Professor Sali has helped to pioneer health promotion and Integrative Medicine in Australia. He is the founder and now Director of the National Institute of Integrative Medicine, President of the Australasian Integrative Medicine Association and a member of the International Council of Integrative Medicine. Prior to the establishment of the NIIM, Professor Avni Sali was Head of the Department of Surgery at the University of Melbourne.
Professor Aviad Haramati - Georgetown University School of Medicine, USA
Founding Vice-Chair of the Consortium of Academic Health Centers for Integrative Medicine in the US and Professor of Physiology & Biophysics and Medicine, Professor Haramati has contributed to medical education in ways that extend beyond basic science and physiology, including leading a NIH funded initiative to incorporate IM into the curriculum at Georgetown.

Dr Maizes is an Associate Professor of Medicine, Family and Community Medicine and Public Health as well as Executive Director for the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona. Dr Weil is a renowned author and physician, and is best known for establishing and popularising the field of integrative medicine. In 1994, Weil founded the Program in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona in Tucson, now called the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine.

With a long history of leadership in nursing in the NHS, Professor Wright has contributed to changes in clinical nursing and health care policy at national and international levels. He holds the UK’s only Professorship in IM Nursing, is chairman and co-founder of the Sacred Space Foundation, the Founding Editor of the journal Spirituality and Health International and an award-winning columnist for Nursing Standard and contributes regularly to other professional journals.
Dr Ruth Sewell – Academic Consultant
Dr Sewell is an holistic psychotherapist and nurse who has specialized in the academic study and teaching of Integrated Healthcare and the research of women’s emotional responses to cancer treatment.
Denise Rankin-Box – Editor-in-Chief, Complementary Therapies in Clinical Practice
Ms Rankin-Box heads up Management of Change Initiatives, providing support for individuals, organisations and health care workers. She was Chair of the Royal College of Nursing Complementary therapy forum between 1990 and 1996 and is now Editor-in-Chief of a bi-monthly journal, Complementary Therapies in Nursing and Midwifery and has published widely on the topic of CAM.

More than 20 years ago Jean Sayre-Adams came to the UK from the USA and took a leading role in introducing Therapeutic Touch to British health care practitioners. Jean is a co-founder of the Sacred Space Foundation and is wholeheartedly involved with the care of hundreds of people a year who seek spiritual nurturance at the Cumbria retreat.
